THEOLOGY 101

Ad Majorem Dei Glorium

What is Theology 101

Theology 101 is an opportunity for High School youth to grow in their knowledge and understanding of our beautiful Catholic faith. We will be using the Catechism of the Catholic Church as our main text. Our goal is to get through all four sections of the Catechism in four years. However you can start anytime!

Every participant must do the reading and be prepared to discuss what was read. They will be tested throughout the year through asking questions, small quizzes, and a variety of challenges both individually and as a group. All will walk away from this class with a deeper knowledge of our faith, which hopefully will lead to a deeper love of Our Lord! This year we are studying the Creed!

who can attend theology 101

Any and all 9th-12th graders wanting to grow and learn more about their Catholic Faith are invited to  attend. Theology 101 is for teens who truly want to know their faith and are not afraid of a little homework. Theology 101 is not for teens who do not want to attend; teens must want to attend Theology 101.

All new members are invited to an introductory class on Monday September 23 from 7-8:30pm at St. Michael’s Youth room to receive a Catechism and go over the how Theology 101 works.
